A refreshing and tangy non-alcoholic Mangonada that combines the sweetness of frozen mango with the tartness of lime and a spicy kick from chamoy and Tajín seasoning. Perfect for a hot day or as a fun, flavorful treat.

  • 16 oz. Frozen mango
  • 12 oz. Mango nectar
  • 1 Cup Ice
  • 1 Lime, juiced
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar

For Garnish and Rim

  • 3 tbsp Chamoy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Tajín seasoning
  • Tamarind candy sticks (tamarind straws)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mango Base: Blend the frozen mango, mango nectar, ice, lime juice, and granulated sugar in a blender until smooth and creamy, ensuring the mixture has a sorbet-like consistency.
  2. Prepare the Glass Rims: Dip the rims of your serving glasses into the chamoy sauce to coat them evenly, then immediately dip the rims into the Tajín seasoning so it sticks, creating a flavorful and spicy border.
  3. Decorate Inside the Glass: Drizzle additional chamoy sauce along the inside walls of each glass to add extra flavor and visual appeal.
  4. Pour and Garnish: Carefully pour the mango sorbet mixture into the prepared glasses. Insert a tamarind candy stick (tamarind straw) into each glass. Optionally, garnish with slices of fresh mango or lime wedges for added freshness and color.
  5. Serve: Serve the Mangonada immediately to enjoy its chilled and vibrant flavors at their best.
