Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan cheese), grated
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning*
  • 1 cup dill pickle, diced
  • 1 tablespoon dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

Optional Ranch Seasoning Ingredients (if making your own)

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for spicy kick)
  • 2 tablespoons pickle brine
  • 3/4 cup ranch dressing (to replace mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning)
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter mixed with 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (for breadcrumb topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) to prepare for baking the dip.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated parmigiano reggiano, sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning. Stir in the diced dill pickles and chopped dill until evenly incorporated.
  3. Optional Enhancements: If desired, add any optional ingredients like red pepper flakes for spice, pickle brine for extra tang, white cheddar for a sharper cheese flavor, cooked bacon for smokiness, or substitute ranch dressing for mayonnaise, sour cream, and seasoning for convenience.
  4. Prepare Baking Dish: Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and, if you want a crunchy topping, sprinkle the melted butter mixed with panko bread crumbs and garlic powder evenly over the top.
  5. Bake: Place the dip in the preheated oven and bake for 20–30 minutes until the sides are bubbling and the top is golden brown.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with chips, crackers, or vegetables. Alternatively, you can serve it unbaked by simply mixing all ingredients well and serving immediately.

  • Incorporating pickle brine intensifies the tangy flavor.
  • Substitute mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning with ranch dressing for easier preparation.
  • Adding white cheddar cheese or bacon will add extra richness and flavor.
  • The breadcrumb topping mixed with melted butter and garlic powder offers a crispy texture when baked.
  • This dip is excellent served both hot baked or cold unbaked.
